While we still don’t exactly have spring weather in the forecast, there’s plenty of spring-y and Easter events to check out this weekend.
Comedians Martin Short and Jerrod Carmichael both make rare live appearances in the borough this weekend — though not at the same place (someday, maybe). Friday brings a Beyoncé-themed party in celebration of her new album, “Cowboy Carter,” at 3 Dollar Bill. St. Ann & the Holy Trinity hosts a Good Friday service that evening, and DeKalb Market Hall has their monthly nighttime market.
Town Square’s Annual Spring Egg Hunt is Saturday morning and so is the Myrtle Avenue Spring Scavenger Hunt. The Marsha P. Johnson State Park hosts a celebration in honor of International Transgender Day of Visibility that afternoon. C’mon Everybody has a party for all the himbos in your life, too.
Sunday is a bit slower with an Easter service at St. John’s Park Slope. The William Vale holds an Easter Hoppy Hour for the kid in you.
Oh, and the Prospect Park carousel officially opens for the season on Thursday. Have a great weekend.

Living Cartoons: Live Action Films by Animators
Friday through April 25
BAM has created a unique line-up of live-action movies directed by animators. This series examines the aesthetic choices of artists who began in the world of animation before moving into live-action filmmaking. ‘Ugly Beauties’

A new public art installation by artist Curry J. Hackett, “Ugly Beauties” features a panoramic display of AI-generated images of Black people juxtaposed with the various native and invasive plant species — so-called “weeds” — that flourish in New York City, prompting viewers to consider society’s perception of beauty and belonging. Commissioned by The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership with support from Two Trees Management Co. The Plaza at 300 Ashland. Free.
Final weekend for ‘Fashion Forward’ at ‘B’ Dry Goods
On view through March 30
The exhibit winding down at “B” Dry Goods in Crown Heights presents a wide-ranging celebration of the fashion arts, featuring original paintings and drawings by designers Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Balmain, Hubert de Givenchy, Karl Lagerfeld, Alexander McQueen, Christian Lacroix, Antonio Lopez, Christian Dior and others, as well as original textiles, garments, ephemera and contemporary artworks which straddle or investigate the art and fashion worlds. Green Meadows Farm Easter Egg Hunt

Green Meadows Farm hosts their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday and Sunday. The whole family is invited to search for colorful eggs, explore the Bunny House, and discover the farm playground. ‘A Perfect Day for Caribou’ and a Q&A

This movie by Brooklyn-based filmmaker Jeff Rutherford shows an estranged father and son spending the day ambling around a cemetery, wandering the wilderness, searching for family and stumbling through disharmony and heartache.
