Deadly flooding leaves path of destruction throughout Arkansas – Daily Mail

The body of a four-year-old boy who was swept away during wild flood waters in Arkansas has been found. The boy, Damien, was with his 18-month-old sister, Krystal, and their mom when the truck they were in was stranded in floods near Hindsville on Saturday. The trio managed to escape their car before it was swept off the road and over a low-water bridge. However, once they were outside the vehicle, the 38-year-old mother was unable to keep hold of her children’s hands. She then desperately tried to go after her kids, and was ultimately found by rescuers about a mile downstream. Damien was found on Monday afternoon more than three miles away from where he was taken by the waters. Madison County Sheriff’s Office said the grisly discovery was made in Glade Creek – about 130 miles northwest of Little Rock. Krystal still has not been found.
