SWAC Football is in full swing but Week 3 of the College Football season saw the UAPB Golden Lions fall to the UCA Bears 23-45. Central Arkansas Quarterback Breylin Smith was on fire for most of the game completing 31-42 passes for 329 yards 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Sophomore wide receiver Tyler Hudson lived up to the hype with 5 catches 85 yards and 1 touchdown.
UAPB running back Kierre Crossley carried the ball 7 times for 82 yards and 2 Touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball star safety Jalon Thigpen returned to the lineup with 12 tackles (9 solo) and 2 pass breakups. One of the most impressive players in the game was UAPB Freshman Andre Fuller who posted 6 Tackles (5 solo) 1 Tfl 1 Int 1 Td and a MONSTER HIT.
